"Mojo at the Star of the Sea in Manly:
Now this is a random one to put at the top of the list and I didn't even know this theatre existed till I turned up to see the play one night in May. I reckon it was close to the best thing I've seen this year. The acting was excellent.
"The standout feature of Mojo was not so much the brilliant script and thoughtful direction by Henry Jennings; it was the truly exemplary acting by the entire cast - most notably Gary West. West is beyond outstanding in his role as Potts and superbly supported by his incredibly talented sidekick, Sweets (James Deeth). Together, their quick-fire comic banter was sophisticated comedy at it’s very finest. "

"This really is a must see, I went to see it on Thursday with my sister. The acting was superb and the pace of the dialogue between the characters was like lightening, as they said in the play "the fish were jumping and the cottons high!" Gary West and James Deeth played their parts to perfection, but hats off to Capkin Van Alphen who had the most diverse role and as we left decided we would not like to meet him down a dark ally! If you live in or around Manly then you must go and see this, they deserve a full house every night. "
